Ouch! I just looked at the calendar...
How can it have been so long since I last posted here? In my best southern, I do declare the days just seem to flash by at an ever-increasing rate.
Wise Owl Tutoring is going well. One of the best things I did this years was to hire an administrative assistant (Girl Friday). Megan is great; I now wonder how how I survived without her. We've had a high demand for physics this year, so I've brought two new tutors on board to help. There are eight of us tutors in all now.
Writing is going slowly, so slowly in fact that some days it's impossible to see any progress at all. But I'm still at it. Our critique group continues strong. We've started having a "writing day" every two months. These have proven productive and enjoyable. If you're in a critique or writing group, and need a "push," you might want to suggest this.
Running--this is where my excitement is at the moment. I've just complete my 24th state (35th marathon). Fox Cities in Wisconsin was a perfectly planned and executed event. I highly recommend it. I did it nearly an hour faster than expected, and felt good at the finish. So I'm ready for the Grand Rapids, MI marathon on Oct. 28. State 25. Half-way to 50.
